Every document that governs a purchase from us is published in full, on its own page, with its version and effective date. Nothing needs a sales call, a login or a request. If a clause is unclear, write to legal@coppermailer.com and we will explain it in plain language.

Information for banks and payment providers
Everything an underwriting, risk or compliance team normally has to ask for, on one page, so that nobody has to guess what this business does. A signed copy on company letterhead is available within one working week from legal@coppermailer.com.
1. Who the merchant is
| Legal name | JC Establishment LLC |
|---|---|
| Trading name | CopperMailer |
| Legal form | Limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Registered 2025. |
| Business address | 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States Registered office, invoice address and address for service of process. |
| Register | Wyoming Secretary of State. The company’s entry, including its filing details and registered agent, is public and searchable at wyobiz.wyo.gov under the legal name above. |
| Website | coppermailer.com |
| Group structure | None. One company, one bank account, one set of books, no parent, no subsidiaries, no other trading names and no other brands. |
| Merchant of record | JC Establishment LLC on every order without exception. There is no reseller, no agent and no intermediary between us and the customer. |
2. What the business does
We develop one software product and license it. CopperMailer is cloud-hosted customer-service software: it reads the email that a customer’s own correspondents have sent to a mailbox that customer controls, and drafts an answer for a human at that company to approve before it is sent. The customer is a business that already receives support email; the money we take is the price of a licence and of the replies the software writes.
| Merchant category | MCC 5734 – computer software |
|---|---|
| Activity codes | NAICS 511210 (software publishers) · PKD 58.29.Z · NACE J58.29 |
| Products sold | Perpetual software licences · permanent feature unlocks · prepaid usage credits for that same software · downloadable template packs · one-off onboarding of the customer’s own workspace |
| Customers | Businesses and sole traders that operate a shared support mailbox. Accounts are opened by hand after a check; there is no self-service sign-up. |
| Price range | USD 0.99 to USD 1,999.99 per order. Typical order between USD 5 and USD 200. |
| Delivery | Digital and immediate: applied to the buyer’s account on successful payment, normally within seconds and always within one hour. Nothing is shipped; there is no physical fulfilment, no delivery window and no delivery charge. |
| Billing model | One-time charges only. No subscriptions, no billing cycles, no recurring mandates, no automatic renewals, no automatic top-ups, no usage bill and no negative-option billing. Every charge is created by the customer clicking to confirm a purchase they configured themselves. |
| Currency | Prices quoted in USD. Where a local payment method settles in another currency, the converted amount is displayed before the customer confirms and is the amount charged and, if refunded, the amount refunded. |
| Statement descriptor | JC Establishment, once per purchase. Disclosed on the pricing section, in the Terms and in the Return & Refund Policy so that the entry is never a surprise. |
3. Three properties you can verify yourself
Rather than ask a risk team to take a category on trust, here are three properties of the product that can be checked against the published API reference in a couple of minutes.
- The software answers; it cannot send. The recipient of every outgoing message is read from the inbound message being replied to.
POST /v1/messages/{id}/replyis the only route by which mail leaves the system, and{id}must be a message that arrived in a mailbox the customer connected. No endpoint, screen or import format accepts a recipient of the customer’s choosing, and no list, segment, campaign or schedule exists as an object anywhere in the system. Advertising, marketing, newsletter and bulk-email use are therefore not merely prohibited by clause 26.2; there is nothing in the product that could perform them. - One product, one seller. Everything on this site is built and sold by us, to the person who will use it. We host no other sellers, act for no third party, take no commission, and never collect, hold, split or forward money intended for anyone else. Every payment we take is our own revenue for our own software.
- The human-delivered part is small and bounded. The only thing we sell that is not software is one-off onboarding of a customer’s own workspace, priced between USD 54.95 and USD 134.99, sold only to people who already hold a licence. We take on no IT work for third parties, administer no customer systems, and make no changes to systems we do not run.
4. Credits are units of use, not stored value
Some of what we sell is prepaid: a customer can buy credits, and one credit writes one reply. This is a prepayment for our own software and nothing more. In particular a credit cannot be transferred to another person or another account, spent anywhere outside CopperMailer, exchanged for anything other than replies from our software, sold on, or withdrawn as cash. Credits exist only inside a workspace we have opened for a named customer and cannot be bought, held or gifted as a standalone item.
Mechanically, a credit is spent by a generation call and written to a usage log, the same way a metered API call is; the customer’s workspace shows the log line by line and exports it to CSV. No customer funds are held and no payment instrument is issued. The only money that ever travels back to a customer is a refund of an unused purchase, paid to the original payment method under the Return & Refund Policy. A single order is capped at 20,000 credits (USD 1,999.99) so that no one can build up a large prepaid position with us; larger volumes are invoiced against an agreed usage schedule instead.
5. Returns, refunds and disputes
- Returns. Nothing physical is sold, so nothing is ever posted back: there is no return address, no return shipping and no restocking fee. Our return policy is our refund policy.
- Refunds. 14 days on anything unused, no justification required; unused paid credits refundable pro rata for 24 months from the date of purchase; consumers in the EU and the UK additionally keep their statutory right of withdrawal, with a model withdrawal form published at clause 10. Refunds go to the original payment method, in the currency charged, with nothing deducted. Decision within 5 business days, funds within 5 to 10 business days after that.
- Chargebacks. We ask customers to write to us first because it is faster, but we never require it, and we never suspend, restrict or penalise an account for raising a dispute with its bank. See clause 8 of the Return & Refund Policy.
- Complaints. Acknowledged within 2 business days and answered substantively within 14 days, with an appeal to a reviewer who did not take the original decision.
6. Payment handling and data
- Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates on Stripe-hosted fields. Full card numbers never reach our servers and we store only a token, the card brand, the last four digits and the expiry date. This keeps us in PCI DSS SAQ A scope.
- We are enabling local payment methods for customers in Poland, namely bank transfer and BLIK through Przelewy24. They are not live yet, and nothing on this site claims otherwise. When they are, the payment page will name the institution processing them and JC Establishment LLC will remain the seller and merchant of record.
- No payment method is stored for future use unless the customer explicitly asks us to save one, and it can be removed at any time. No recurring mandate is ever created, because nothing on this site renews.
- Fraud screening is performed by Stripe. We decline, or refund and reverse, any purchase we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or made with a payment method used without its owner’s authority.
7. Customer screening and prohibited use
- Accounts are opened manually, one at a time, never by self-service. Before a workspace is created we verify that the mailbox to be connected belongs to the applicant, confirm the applicant is answering inbound mail rather than sending campaigns, and screen the applicant and their organisation against sanctions and watchlists.
- We refuse to onboard the sectors listed in clause 26.4, which include every category our payment providers prohibit, and we decline any application whose purpose is bulk, cold or marketing email.
- Anyone, customer or not, can report abuse at abuse@coppermailer.com; reports are acknowledged within one business day and investigated.
- Sanctions and export-control obligations are set out in clause 16 of the Terms of Service.
8. The documents themselves
Each is published in full on its own page, with no login and no sales call in the way: Terms of Service · Privacy Policy · Return & Refund Policy · Acceptable Use Policy · Cookie Policy · Data Processing Addendum · Service Level Agreement · Business classification · Company details · Payments · Informacje dla klientów z Polski.
9. How to check every one of these claims
None of this needs to be taken on faith. Each row below can be verified from outside, without asking us for anything.
| Claim | How to check it yourself |
|---|---|
| The company exists and is in good standing | Search the legal name in the Wyoming Secretary of State business register at wyobiz.wyo.gov. The filing, its status and the registered agent are public. |
| The website belongs to the same operation | A WHOIS or RDAP lookup on coppermailer.com shows the registration and its age. The addresses we publish all resolve on that domain, and mail from us is signed with DKIM and aligned under DMARC on it – check the DNS TXT records for _dmarc.coppermailer.com and our selector. |
| The product is real and does what we describe | Read the API reference. It is the same surface the application uses, and its shape is the argument: the only call that sends mail takes a message identifier, not a recipient. Ask for an account and you can exercise it against a live workspace with 50 free credits and no card. |
| Card data never reaches us | Open developer tools at checkout. The card fields are served and submitted by our processor’s domain, not ours; no card number is posted to coppermailer.com. |
| This website stores nothing on your device | Check the application and storage tabs in developer tools. There are no cookies, no local storage, no analytics and no third-party requests on any page of this site. |
| The documents are what we say they are | Every one is published in full on its own page, with a version number and effective date, with no login. Superseded versions are archived and sent on request from legal@coppermailer.com. |
| Prices and refund terms are not hidden | Every price we charge is on the pricing page, and the whole payment flow, currency handling and refund route is on the payments page. Neither requires an account to read. |
Need this as a document? This page prints cleanly: Ctrl+P or ⌘+P produces a tidy PDF with the navigation, buttons and decoration stripped out, suitable for attaching to a file. The stylesheet has a print layout written for exactly this.
Anything missing, or needed in a particular format, on letterhead or signed? Write to legal@coppermailer.com, and ask for a call if that is easier. We would far rather answer a question now than have an application sit in a queue over it. Customers and reviewers in Poland may find the Polish-language summary at Informacje dla klientów z Polski quicker to read.

CopperMailer is a trading name, not a separate company. Every contract on this site is with JC Establishment LLC, every invoice is issued by it, and every card charge is taken by it. There is no other entity involved and no other company in the group.
Business classification
JC Establishment LLC is a software publisher. We develop one product, CopperMailer, and license it directly to the businesses that use it. It is cloud-hosted customer-service software: it reads the email a customer’s own correspondents have sent to a mailbox that customer controls, and drafts an answer for a human at that company to approve. Our revenue is the price of licences, of the replies the software writes, and of template packs; the only human-delivered item we sell is onboarding of a customer’s own workspace, and it is offered only to people who already hold a licence.
| Merchant category | MCC 5734 – computer software |
|---|---|
| Activity codes | NAICS 511210 (software publishers) · PKD 58.29.Z · NACE J58.29 |
| What is sold | Perpetual software licences · permanent feature unlocks · prepaid usage credits for that same software · downloadable template packs · one-off onboarding of the customer’s own workspace |
| Sold to | Businesses and sole traders that operate a shared support mailbox, worldwide, subject to clause 16 |
| Sold by | Us, directly, to the person who will use the software. We act for no third party, host no other sellers and take no commission. |
Three properties of the product follow from how it is built rather than from anything we promise, and each can be checked in the published API reference rather than taken on trust:
- It answers; it does not send. The recipient of every outgoing message is read from the inbound message being replied to. There is no endpoint, screen or file format that accepts a recipient of your choosing, and no list, segment, campaign or schedule exists as an object in the system. The software is therefore incapable of advertising, marketing, newsletter or bulk-email use, quite apart from clause 26.2 forbidding it.
- Credits are consumption, not custody. A credit is spent by a generation call and written to a usage log. It cannot be transferred, gifted, sold, spent anywhere else or redeemed for anything but replies from our own software, and it exists only inside a workspace opened for a named customer. No customer funds are held, and no payment instrument is issued.
- One product, one seller. Everything on this site is made and sold by us to the person who uses it. No money is ever collected, held, split or forwarded on anyone else’s behalf.
A statement of the above on company letterhead, signed, is available within one working week from legal@coppermailer.com.
What we sell
Access to cloud-hosted software that drafts and sends AI-generated replies from mailboxes our customers control, sold as one-time payments: perpetual licences, permanent feature unlocks, prepaid credit packs, downloadable reply packs and one-off setup services. We do not operate subscriptions and nothing renews automatically. Access is delivered digitally and immediately on payment. There are no physical goods, no shipping and no delivery times. Prices are shown in US dollars on the Pricing section. Any sales tax, VAT or GST we are required to collect is calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm payment, and itemised on your invoice.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe, and local payment methods, where offered, by a local payment institution named on the payment page. In every case JC Establishment LLC is the seller and the merchant of record. CopperMailer never receives or stores full card numbers. Each purchase produces exactly one charge, shown on statements as JC Establishment, the legal name of the seller rather than the CopperMailer trading name. No recurring payment mandate is created, and we do not retain card credentials for future charges unless a customer explicitly asks us to save a payment method, which they can remove at any time.
Returns, refunds and fulfilment, in short
Returns. There are none to make: no physical goods are sold, so nothing is ever posted back to us, there is no return address and no restocking or handling fee. Our return policy is our refund policy, in full, below.
Everything is delivered digitally and applied to the account on payment, normally within seconds and always within one hour; there is nothing to ship and no delivery window. Any purchase can be refunded within 14 days to the extent it has not been used, and unused paid credits are refundable for 24 months from purchase, pro rata at the price actually paid, for as long as the account is open. Credits themselves never expire for use; only the cash-refund window is time-limited. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, in US dollars, with no fee deducted: we decide within 5 business days and the money lands within 5 to 10 business days after that. Consumers in the EU and UK keep their statutory right of withdrawal, which we neither ask them to waive nor rely on waiving. The full rules are in the Return & Refund Policy, and billing questions go to billing@coppermailer.com, answered Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 Mountain Time (17:00 to 01:00 CET).
Document versions
Each document below shows its version and effective date. The Terms of Service is at version 1.3, the Return & Refund Policy at version 1.2, the Privacy Policy at version 1.1, all effective 3 August 2026; the rest remain at their first published version, and we are not going to invent a revision history we do not have. Material changes are announced by email and in the application at least 30 days before they take effect, and if you do not accept them you may close your account and have your unused credit balance refunded in full. A change to these documents can never trigger a charge, because nothing renews. Superseded versions are archived and available on request from legal@coppermailer.com.
Notices and service of process
Legal notices should be sent to JC Establishment LLC, 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States, and copied to legal@coppermailer.com. Law-enforcement requests are reviewed individually; we require valid legal process, refuse overbroad requests, and notify affected customers unless prohibited by law.
